| Statement: |
| Charles G. Baldwin works as an administrator, designer, and teacher at Wheelock Family Theatre, a professional, Equity theatre for young people and adults in Boston, Massachusetts. He has designed productions at the Harwich Junior Theatre, Joe Goode Performance Group, Thick Description Theatre, and the Phoenix Theatre. Mr. Baldwin was a founding member of San Francisco's Z Collective.
At Wesleyan University Mr. Baldwin studied ceramics with Mary Risley and printmaking with David Schorr. He has also studied ceramics with Pamela Black and Louise Eckhardt. His illustrations have often formed narratives, perhaps due to his theatrical training, and he has studied drawing with David Sipress at Massachusetts College of Art and Mark Chester of San Francisco.
Mr. Baldwin has been creating coloring books from his illustrated narratives for many years. This is an affordable art resource and interactive for the patron. | |
